Yuya
TSUDA
Yuya Tsuda was born in Japan in 1982. He studied at 'Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music'(Tokyo Geidai) between 2001~2005 under Prof. Gabriel Tacchino , Goldberg Yamane Miyoko and Yu Kakuno.
He graduated at the top of the university and received Prizes of 'Ariadne Musica' 'Ataka' and 'Acanthus'. He have continued to study at Graduate school of the same university. He played with Deutsches Kammerorchester, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra and Geidai Philharmonia when he studied in undergraduate and have studied in graduate school. As chamber musician, he perfomed with Gerard Poulet.
In 2001, he received the 3rd Prize at the Music Competition of Japan.
In 2007, he won the 1st Prize and Audience Prize at the Sendai International Music Competition.
From the winter semester 2007 he studies at the Berlin University of Arts (UDK) under Prof. Pascal Devoyon.
